Very well finished, it runs smoothly with Dura Ace 11s chain. Also it looks amazing on my bike, it's the best track transmission to me !
This surprised me. Remarkably smooth and immediately noticeable. It will be some training session before I can make objective measurements but I’m delighted with this purchase.
sweet ring
Bought 64t Enduo narrow chainring. Great quality and back side engravings make the chainring pretty reasonable weight. Cant wait to test it within couple of weeks time.
Has anyone tried using this as a 1x setup chainring? I’m considering using a track crankset to limit Q factor, and use this as a 1x setup (BB would be offset for a more ideal chain line).
I’m wondering if this chainring would allow for some cross chaining in a 1x setup without falling off.
Hi there. The system isnt recomended for multi gear configuration sorry. This is due to the chainline needing to be straight (+/- 1mm) to opperate well. In a 1x setup, this would limit the opperational gears to a small section of the cassette.
If I want to maximize drive chain efficiency under high wattages (1000+) what is the best drivetrain setup. The enduo system or you standard toothed system? and are the duraace or izumi chains more efficient? I am a bit confused by all the different options. Is one option stiffer than the other?
Hi Hal, the Enduo chainrings and sprockets offer the highest efficiency performance of our range - even at 1000W and above.
Most of the nations we supply select the Elite Track Chainrings for their fleets due to having one chainring and sprocket design to suit all gear ratio sizes, whereby the Enduo range are only in even tooth counts.
Narrow (11/128") drivetrains use 11 speed road chains instead of 1/8" track chains. The 11 speed Dura-Ace chain has been tested to be the most efficient of all the chains we've tested, and well suited for your power output level.
So is it necessary to run a enduo cog in the back if you have a enduo chainring in the front, or are you able to do a normal 11/128 cog in the back with the enduo in the front?
Hi Adam, any sprocket and chainring can be paired with any of the Enduo chainrings or sprockets. Just ensure that the sprockets and chainrings match the chain size. I.e. if youre running a 11/128" (narrow) chainring and chain, you'll also need to run a 11/128" (narrow) sprocket.
