These dropout adapters convert 120mm track bikes to fit 130mm smart trainers with excellent results. Customers praised the "high quality" machining and secure fit with "no weird flex" during intense workouts. Easy to install and compatible with Wahoo Kickr, Zwift Hub, and other direct-drive trainers. Enables track cyclists to train indoors in their preferred position.

Works perfectly to adapt my State Black Label to the Wahoo Kickr Core 2! I have been wanting to use my track bike on a smart trainer for my indoor workouts, and these 120mm to 130mm adapters were exactly the missing piece. The fit is secure with absolutely no weird flex or movement when I am pushing hard out of the saddle. It is a huge relief being able to use the frame I already know and love to get my indoor miles in. They are completely straightforward to install and I recommend them to anyone trying to get a fixed gear onto a modern direct drive trainer.
Allows me to hook my track bike onto the trainer for use on Zwift. If you also have the Play controllers you can use virtual shifting.
I have a fixie that I got from a friend, and really wanted to use it as my trainer bike with my Zwift Hub. I have the Zwift Cog single gear on the trainer with this application.
These are a very high quality adapter that will hold a big fella like me with ease (230lbs). They make it to where you can mount the bike on your trainer. What else do you need?
I will note that since the Zwift Cog has a goofy little plastic spacer on it, you have to get your own metal hub spacers to put on there so that the screw doesn't hit that piece and it reduces the overall size. I'm sure this is not an issue with most trainer setups, the Zwift cog is just a super goofy little piece with that extra plastic.
Very easy fix with some quick collaboration with my local bike shop! I also had to slightly lengthen the chain, but that's also easy and was expected.
Thanks Velobike!
The dropout adapters also work really well for mounting a track bike in a Scicon bike bag for transit.
Being able to ride my pursuit position on the trainer is a game-changer. Paired with the 11sp chainring, I can just use different 11sp cassette cogs. Removed the low cogs to provide more clearance to the frame, but otherwise I have multiple gearing options to choose from.
Inventive!! Amazing quality, great service and prompt response and shipping.
I’m Dealing with vestibular dysfunction and wanted to use my track bike on the trainer instead of trying to ride outside. This is great!
A must have for indoor training with your track bike. Very convenient and easy to setup
Major benefits from using your trackbike on the trainer
Thanks
Works as needed to put my track bike on my indoor wheel-off smart trainer.
My wife got me the drop adapters for Father’s Day and after setting up my spare track bike with them on my saris H3 I can say I am thoroughly impressed with the high quality of the product and how easy it was to set up.
Many direct-drive rollers use a magnetic loading system, and strong-legged track cyclists may have experienced a momentary loss of load when applying high torque during indoor training.
Direct-drive rollers that are not magnetically loaded include the LeMond Revolution, Elite Turno, and Revbox MK6.1. However, even Velobike only offers a dedicated fixed gear adapter for the LeMond Revolution among these rollers.
(And since the LeMond Revolution is discontinued and still a favorite of professional track cyclists, it is rare to find one on the used market...)
I bought a Turbo Trainer Single-Speed Adapter for my Elite Turno.
This is a special single-speed gear (12T, 16T) mounted on the hub body of many direct-drive rollers, and a Dropout Adapter is attached to the rear end of the bike, which allows you to connect a fixed-gear bike to a free hub. The distance from the center of the BB to the gears is longer than when using a normal wheel, so it is a little annoying to have to prepare a new chain.
I am sorry to have to say this, but thanks to the Turbo Trainer Single-Speed Adapter, I can practice high-torque indoor training without any hesitation. I wish you all a good track cycling life with Velobike!
Feels really high quality and i got exactly what I ordered!
These simple and well made dropout adapters were easy to install and do exactly the job I needed them for. They were delivered to Ireland within a week of ordering from New Zealand and the packaging was excellent, they even included a thoughtful hand written note and a gear ratio card. excellent. thanks.
These are great ,set the track bike up on the Wahoo Kickr V6 use the Zwift click and cog ,Have 24 gears on the track bike great for erg mode traning , able to train in my aero position and fine tune it.
I purchased the 120-130dropout adapters to use my track bike with my Kickr. They were delivered promptly to aus and simple to install. Definitely recommend
Better than I had expected. Machined really well.
Hi!
Is this part also compatible with zwift cog?
Hi Oli, Yes, however some minor modifications are required to the plastic ring that sits on the outside of the sprocket. Please see the reviews on the product page for the dropout adapters, other have mentioned how they have fixed it there.
Hi,
Is your Dropout Adapters (Convert 120mm to 130mm) safe to use on the road? Or is it strictly for indoor trainers?
Hi Merv, they're strictly for indoor trainers where mounted stationary. I would not recommend using them on the road
Not sure why it was suggested on the video to add a 5-6 link piece of chain with two quick links. How does that help with installation and removal of the chain?
Hi Graham, thanks for your question.
The dropout adapters effectively extend the chainstay length of the bike, which means a longer chain is required. I suggested using two quick links because it makes it easy to remove the added chain section and return the chain to its original length when using the bike normally. The other option is to use a second, longer chain specifically for the trainer, then swap back to the shorter chain for normal riding.
