The adapter replaces the freehub with a fully locked fixed gear hub to fully replicate the track bike experience indoors. A special Track bike specific through axle replicated the rear wheel of the bike making it an easy swap over between indoor training and riding on the track.
It's great tool for riding track bike inside house.
But bearing is really easy to broke...
Just 4months some big noise from adapter.

In most cases bearing failure is caused by over-tightening of the retaining nut - putting excess side-load on the bearings.
